Perhaps my biggest resolution this year is to be more organized. I have many great ideas, passions and desires that are squelched by bad planning or waning execution. This can definitely be said about my spiritual growth. Often the year slips by and I wonder, what have I learned, how have I really grown? Obviously the Lord is very gracious and is always faithful to teach his children with or without their cooperation, but I want to be very specific this year in setting goals that will benefit my spiritual life-that I might be a benefit to others.
One area that I am going to set goals in is my extra Biblical reading. I LOVE to read, but often lack of planing keeps me from benefiting from the wisdom of others the way that I would like to. Thus, this list. There are 12 books in 3 categories: Theology, Godly Womanhood, and Random Interests. The goal is to read one book a month and have a variety that will keep me going. Here are the books I have selected for this year:

• Seeing with New Eyes, by David Powlison

Ok, so there it is for all to see-my book reading goals for 2010. I think I will also post it on the main page of my blog so that I can check them off as I read them for added accountability. I am hoping to get some fiction in as well, but that will have to be if time permits (a.k.a. if baby number 2 permits). Thankfully we already have a lot of these books so I won’t have to go out and buy most of them! Well time to get cracking... what will I dive into first?
